The Spanish library in the Moravian Library was founded from the book donation of Embassy of Spain in 2016. It became part of the Foreign Libraries of the Moravian Library and cooperates with the Embassy of Spain, the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University and the Cervantes Institute in Prague.

The Spanish Library was opened July 4, 2016 as the fifth library of the Foreign Libraries. The basis of the Spanish Library is a gift of 200 books in Spanish from the Embassy of Spain. The library consist primarily of fiction, poetry, literary science texts and children's literature. In the future the Moravian Library plans to purchase textbooks for Spanish DELE exams and books about culture and history of Spain.

The Spanish Library cooperates with the Embassy of Spain, the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University and the Cervantes Institute in Prague. Apart from library services the library also organizes various cultural and educational programmes.
