Loan limits

A maximum of 40 absentee and full-time loans can be borrowed at the same time, in total across the entire MZK.
The user can enter the following number of requests in individual study rooms:
- Free choice – 20 requests
- Books from the warehouse – 20 requests
- Interlibrary Loan Services – 50 requests (limit related to cooperating libraries)
- Foreign Libraries – Austrian, German and English Library – 35 requests, 1 tablet
- Periodicals Reading Room – 20 requests
- Humanities Study Center – 20 requests
- Old Prints Study Room – 5 requests
- Standards and patents – by arrangement

You can borrow most of the absentee loans for 1 month (marked with the status Month in the catalog)
We lend some publications from foreign libraries for 14 days.
We lend tablets and readers for 1 week.
