Schubert, R. Schumann, F. Liszt, and F. Chopin
Music manuscripts (around 1,500 units) – from the second half of the 17th century until the present (autographs, copies). Among the most interesting items is a handwritten copy of Mozart's compositions Motetto “Venti, Fulgur, procellae” (1780)

You can usually borrow all our documents for one month. You will receive an email notification when your loan period is approaching its end. If you still need the book, you can extend the loan period, but only if the book has not already been reserved by another reader.
A list of loans will be displayed, you can return to it later by clicking on "MY ACCOUNT"
Click "renew all" or select select titles to renew
If another reader is not interested in the book, you can extend its loan. In total, you can have the book on loan for up to 3 months if no other reservation is placed for it.
You have probably already exceeded the maximum loan period (in which case the books must be brought to the library) or the work has been reserved by another user. Alternatively, you may have an expired registration (the system will block the possibility of renewal if there is less than one month left until the end of the registration validity period) or an unpaid fee. Check your account status, any fees can be also paid online. You can also register renew online - then the renewal option will be unlocked again.
How to return?
Books can be returned at the Registration and Loans counter on the ground floor, at the counters in reading rooms, or in the Bibliobox located in front of the library. The Bibliobox allows you to return books 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Bibliobox is emptied every morning, which determines the time of return. If there is a late fee related to a loan, it will be collected on your next visit.
The loan period is usually one month. Loans may be renewed through the online catalogue provided there is no reservation for the book. If you do not return a book on time, there is a 5 CZK late fee per book and per day.
