Bookbox

Do you need to return a book when the library is closed? Use the self-service bookbox, which is located in front of the main entrance to the library.

You can return books to the bookbox 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by simply dropping them into the box. It is good to remember 3 rules when using the bookbox:

You use the bookbox at your own risk,

  • CDs (not even books with CD inserts) cannot be dropped into the bookbox,
  • The book will be returned only on the following (opening) day.
  • Library employees always collect books in the morning. If a book is returned after its loan period has expired, the reader will still be required to pay a late fee on their next visit to the library.

The bookbox is resistant to moisture and the documents dropped in are well protected from damage. The carrying capacity of the collection cart is 150 kg, which corresponds to hundreds of books.
