Milan Kundera Library

The Milan Kundera Library houses a huge number of various editions of Milan Kundera’s works published in 50 different languages, arranged according to the individual titles. The collection is made up mostly from Kundera’s novels, essays, plays, and early poetry. Besides these, the collection includes forewords, introductions, epilogues, and annotations found in works by other writers as well as journals and newspapers in which Kundera published. Besides Kundera’s work, the library provides a number of scholarly works on his life and oeuvre.

Opening Hours

Monday – Friday 10.00–17.00
  • It is possible to open the reading room outside the opening hours if agreed upon two days in advance by email kundera@mzk.cz.
  • We reserve the right to change the opening hours.
