The digital archive of German-language periodicals offers online access to more than 1,400 digitised scientific journals in 21 disciplines. Almost one million articles (more than seven million pages) can already be found in the database. The available titles include Geschichte und Gesellschaft : Zeitschrift für historische Sozialwissenschaft, Zeitschrift für Soziologie: ZfS, Zeitschrift für deutsches Altertum und deutsche Literatur, Historia, Vierteljahrschrift für Sozial- und Wirtschaftsgeschichte and others.
You can get an overview of all available titles by clicking on the Zeitschriften (Journals) tab and selecting a specific discipline. The individual titles are generally available from their first year and the coverage extends to almost the most recent ones, as agreed with the publisher of the periodical.
You can also search using the search box found on the landing page. The articles you have found can be read online or saved as PDFs (click on the PDF icon in the top right corner).
The database is also available in English.
Access is possible only from the library building, even from your own devices (connected to the MZK wifi).
