Tento unikátní snímek se snaží překlenout mediální obraz ukazující americkou společnost jako silně polarizovanou. Autoři chtějí jít pod povrch vyjádření odborníků i zjednodušujících zkratek novinářů a zjistit, co skutečně spojuje a co naopak rozděluje americkou společnost.

Promítání celovečerního filmu, který zkoumá stav společnosti ve Spojených státech. Film se zamýšlí nad původní myšlenkou Otců zakladatelů, kteří v Ústavě USA vyjádřili cíl vytvořit „dokonalejší jednotu“ a nad tím, co USA sjednocuje a rozděluje. Autoři filmu se snaží překlenout obraz USA prezentovaný v médiích, který prezentuje USA jako silně polarizovanou společnost.

A More — or Less — Perfect Union is the first feature-length film to explore in-depth the state-of-mind of the United States of America, whose Constitution was penned by the Founding Fathers to “form a more perfect union.” This unprecedented documentary probes into what really unites/divides us, getting beyond the noise from the pundits and news media entertainment megaphones.

Is the United States more together than ever? Or less so? Do Americans share aspirations for themselves and their country? What troubles or gladdens them most about their lives and nation? Will the United States walk into the future as one or in crippling disarray? Will they be willing and able to take on the challenges of an ever-more competitive world where the United States may no longer be all-powerful?

A More — or Less — Perfect Union is presented by “We the people” — just as our Constitution would have it. The authors of the documentary have brought together some 200 thoughtful, caring people from across the U.S to express their views on a range of subjects that are at the heart of living in our grand country. Teachers, academics, laborers, entrepreneurs, artists — painting a cinematic tableau of where the American community is today and where it might be tomorrow.
